As pretty as peacock
That’s how I feel since I’ve been using the new ghd peacock collection stylers – they’re more than just a straightener, although I must confess this is their number one purpose in life at Villa Lancaster!
Thing is I can’t afford to have my hair cut as often as I used to these days, gone are the every six to eight week appointments, now I look at when the next blogging conference major occasion is and book myself in for then. Its so expensive to have a cut, colour and blow that I am having to make cuts last with the help of some home dye to last two to three months and my hair can get a little unruly during this time! My previous straighteners had seen better days, they would never have passed an electric PAT test, not that with that tape holding the wires together following an unattended cable melting incident. Anyway they took ages to heat up and didn’t really get quite hot enough anymore (see aforementioned melting incident!) But these ghd beauties that Regis sent me are a thing of beauty, they heat up in a matter of seconds and the irons themselves leave no tell tale lines on my locks. I adore them.
The ghd Peacock Stylers are available in three colourways — deep amethyst purple, rich emerald green and dazzling sapphire blue – I have the emerald green and I *BIG PUFFY HEART* THEM! Each Peacock collection features a ghd Gold Classic styler with coloured plates and accents and a protective plate guard, along with a luxe storage bag and roll mat – I almost love the box and bag they came in as much as I love the styler, in fact its neligable which I love more.
Thanks to Regis Salon’s for sending my these ghd beauties and also for taking the time to create this video about creating curls with them, I have successfully tried this too. I’ve shared the video below for you, the Regis You Tube is a great channel for inspiration and “how to” styling tips I recommend it.
I’m now off to spend more time admiring these ghd’s of beauty … ah, my pretties ….
