School is out! Woo hoo! I’ve made some plans, we have some birthday parties to go to but we still have time to relax, do some stuff if the weather comes good and say yes to impromptu play dates & invites to hang out. We are staying local, not down to the fuel crisis but out of choice. Here are some of the things we are doing or I have spotted to do over the next few weeks:

Making

Lil H is booked & excited to be attending Mad Science at Alderley Edge School for Girls, there are courses throughout the holidays at a number of North West locations http://www.madscience.org/locations/northwest/

During February half term we discover sand art – the children loved it, I’ll be posting a review imminently but we will also be doing more sand art this holidays and you can get kits from http://www.kidsbeehappy.co.uk/

Both my two enjoy baking, however I am rubbish although I do have Dr Oetker kits so we will be doing some quick and yummy edible baking & making. We may even enter their Cupcake Challenge on Facebook as the prize is a trip to New York: http://on.fb.me/DrOCC

Red Ted Art is a favourite of mine and great source of crafty inspirations, you could of course make an Elmer Elephant like us.

Minikin Emporium on Northenden Road in Sale is on my wish list to visit, as well as pot painting they have decopatch , clay coil pot making and other classes running. Full details here
