If Lil H were writing this post he would tell you Ben 10 is amazing, on all formats – TV, DVD, Games, Toys and he has a fine collection of alien figures and the new Ben 10 Destroy All Aliens CGI movie is a great way to spend 69 minutes.
Especially if you play along with your figure as every boys favourite alien morphing ten year year old returns from his summer holidays. Ben is not in a great time of life – school isn’t going well, he is grounded & the Omnitrix isn’t working properly. It’s all action and all aliens. A great watch for my and all the Ben 10 fans out there.
We’ve also watched our first Lego Hero Factory DVD Savage Planet. Its getting a thumbs up from Lil H who is a big Ninjago fan, has a couple of Lego Hero’s and just starting to get into building with Lego. A shorter watch at 43 minutes long but a great choice for a quick view. Lil H and his pals seem to enjoy it, I’ve watched it but I’m over 30 years too old and too girlie* to understand it! *I may have taken advantage of the boys being engrossed to close my eyes 😉
Diva G likes the slapstick spooky fun of Tom & Jerry and Scooby Doo Halloween themed movies: Tom and Jerry Tricks & Treats and Scooby-Doo! Big Top. I must confess I enjoy these familiar characters from my own childhood with their improved digital animation Jerry still has the upper hand and Scooby still has a snack problem!
We owe a big thank you to Warner Brothers for the great additions to our DVD selection, they are keeping quiet time quiet and a popular choice for screen time in our house. They also sent us some sweeties which this lot made speedy work of too!
