To celebrate National Scotch Day on Thursday 27th July 2017, I’m sharing with you a highly-commended scotch-based recipe featuring Drambuie – The Rusty Nail.
Simple, yet complex and rewarding, The Rusty Nail sits alongside the Martini and the Old Fashioned as one of the classics of the cocktail world, but has a sweetness that makes it surprisingly accessible. It’s crafted using Drambuie Scotch Liqueur mixed and enhanced with Scotch Whisky.
RUSTY NAIL
1 part Drambuie
2 parts Scotch whisky
Build over ice in a rocks glass and stir. Garnish with a lemon twist
