Exclusive to SEA LIFE – Saturday 14th – Sunday 29th October 2017
SEA LIFE Manchester will be joining forces this October half term with the underwater adventure series The Deep, for an unforgettable underwater exploration!
The Deep follows the adventures of the Nekton family—a brilliant team of underwater explorers. With state-of-the-art technology and an unquenchable thirst for discovery, the Nektons explore the mysterious depths of the ocean, where most of our world lies unexplored and unexplained. While others look up to the stars, this family knows that an infinite number of things shine brightly in the darkness below. The Deep is a place where leviathans swim through sunken cities, where pirates lurk amidst floating black markets, and where a mysterious group of Guardians hide long lost secrets.
At SEA LIFE Manchester, children are invited to solve the secrets of The Deep, navigating the zones of the aquarium for clues to become a Junior Nekton. Follow in the footsteps of these daring underwater explorers, and discover the mysteries of our oceans at this much-loved aquarium’s amazing creature zones, including Turtle Beach, Shoaling Ring, Rocky Hideout, Jellyfish Seas, Shark Shipwreck, Coral Reef, Ocean Tunnel, Tropical Ocean, Stingray Bay, Rockpool and more!
Visitors will also have the chance to continue their voyage of discovery at Jurassic Ranger; the new for 2017 exhibit at SEA LIFE Manchester. Learn how the prehistoric beasts of the ocean have lived on in their descendants, and interact with some of the most powerful predators that once roamed our seas.
SEA LIFE Manchester’s newest additions have evolved from some of the most powerful predators of the past; Jurassic Ranger includes Axolotl, Lungfish, Lizards, Corn Snakes, Royal Pythons and Giant Snails – which visitors will be able to touch during ranger experience sessions! Walk through the skeletal remains of this underwater dinosaur world and uncover how these Jurassic ancestors have adapted over the years, and find out how you can help them to survive in the future too!
